GM Carlos Hevia Alejano

Important Details

We require a minimum of 6 participants registered to proceed with the class. If fewer than 6 students register, you will receive a full refund of your class fee. Each session will be maxed out at 8 students to keep the group size small. Contact The Chess Refinery, not the venue for any information in regards to this class. TEXT 281.698.0068, don't call, text for a guaranteed response. This group lesson is recommended for players who at the minimum know all the rules of chess and are at least 1200 ELO.  Unrated players you are welcome to register, just keep in mind this is not a purely beginners class but is targeted for adult improvers who know how to play the game and are wanting to improve their positional analysis skills. Attendees may be a wide range of skill levels so we ask for your understanding that the topics and ideas covered may be something you are already familiar with or may possibly be significantly more advanced than what you are expecting. The class will be tailored as best as possible to the ratings of the players attending.

Cost

Each one hour session is $25 per student. 100% Fully refundable if the session is cancelled by the instructors or by The Chess Refinery for any reason. However this fee is NOT refundable if cancellation is initiated by the student due to limited spot availability and our minimum attendance requirement to proceed. The session fee is to be prepaid via Zelle or Paypal upon communication/confirmation by the organizer of space availability. Do not send payment until you have heard from TCR via text message. Space is available on a first come first serve basis.
