Mask Required Policy

There are no exceptions, medical or otherwise to this policy below.

Do not register to play if you are unwilling or unable to mask up properly.

Have your mask on PRIOR to walking into the tournament hall.
​It is encouraged that you have it on also while within the hallways, restrooms and nearby the playing arena please.

Masks are to be worn covering both the nose and mouth. If worn improperly, you will receive an initial warning and reminder to cover up accordingly. If you have already received multiple warnings (i.e more than twice), you will face time penalties wherein we will add time to your opponents clock and/or deduct time from your own clock. If further failure to properly wear the mask occurs, you will be forfeited from the round - at a rated loss to you. Further penalties could include withdrawal from the entire tournament.

Mask Optional Policy

It is highly encouraged for everyone to wear a mask to limit the spread of COVID. However, for this event, we will not be enforcing mask wearing. It will be optional for players to wear or not wear a mask. If you are not comfortable playing under these conditions, please do not register to compete in this event. You will not be given a refund if you subsequently change your mind and want to withdraw.
